UPDATE: 1 Woman Pronounced Dead After Monongalia County Accident

Update

One woman is dead after a four vehicle accident in Monongalia County.

The Monongalia County Sheriff's Department said Tricia Price, 25, of Brownsville PA, was pronounced dead by personnel at Ruby Memorial Hospital.

Price was the driver of one of the vehicles. 

It happened on Blue Horizon Drive at the intersection with Mason Dixon Highway on Friday.

The Monongalia County Sheriff's Department is investigating the cause of the accident.

One woman is dead after a four vehicle accident in Monongalia County.

It happened at the intersection of US Route 19 and WV Route 7 at 5:20 p.m. on Friday.

The Monongalia County Sheriff's Department said three people were transported to Ruby Memorial Hospital where they were treated for their injuries.

One woman involved in the accident was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Her name is being withheld until her family is notified.

The Sheriff's Department is investigating.

Monongalia County EMS, West Virginia State Police, and Cassville Fire helped at the scene.
