The Harrison County Sheriff's Department arrested a Mount Clare man on several charges Monday.
Ryan Matthew Smith, 36, was arrested and charged with possession of bath salts, prohibited person in possession of a firearm, possession of marijuana, and obstructing.
On Monday, sheriff's deputies responded to the Quiet Dell Sports Grill in Harrison County in reference to a male who was armed with a firearm inside the establishment.
After witnesses identified Smith as the male in possession of the firearm, sheriff's deputies approached him and asked for his identification. According to the criminal complaint, Smith provided false information and was arrested for obstructing.
Sheriff's deputies found an empty bath salts package and $2,100 on Smith after he was arrested. According to the criminal complaint, Smith told deputies that he also had a backpack in a red Mustang sitting in the parking lot.
Sheriff's deputies then obtained a search warrant for the Mustang, where they found a small amount of marijuana and a holster to a handgun in the backpack, a loaded handgun, a pack of bah salts and other various drug paraphernalia, according to the criminal complaint.
The owner of the Mustang told sheriff's deputies that the items seized all belonged to Smith, according to the criminal complaint.
Smith is currently in North Central Regional Jail with bail set at $15,000.
