Philippi Main Street hosted its spring Art Stroll downtown on Tuesday.

Local businesses and artists gathered together on Main Street to display products and works of art.

Among some of the pieces displayed were sketches, paintings, jewelry, baskets, and quilts.

Some of the local restaurants who participated also offered food specials.

Renee Cruss, a local artisan, displayed her handmade jewelry made out of marine life fossils and gemstones.

"I think its good for the younger generations to see that if they want to do something they can do something, you know you have kids over there drawing on the sidewalk, I think it just brings the community together," said Cruss.

There is going to be another Art Stroll planned for later in the fall.
