    WVU fraternities, sororities and Student Government Association (SGA) members took part in an Earth Day cleanup of Morgantown on Thursday, April 24th. The event, which was re-scheduled, due to rain on Earth Day (April 22nd), encouraged students to clean up the city in which they attend school. A Randolph County businessman is suing the town of Mill Creek and town council members for voting to revoke the business license for his bar.

John Haney and his business, Haney's Eight Star Restaurant LLC, filed the suit April 30 in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia against the town of Mill Creek, Eddie Currence, Allen Armstrong, John Doe, Diane Currence and Gary Coffman.

Haney said he got a license from the Town of Mill Creek to operate a bar but additionally alleged defendants voted to revoke the business license of his West Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Administration license.

He said he was not given notice of this meeting but was given notice but the ABCA was, and it appeared by a representative at that meeting.

He said he was given notice in a previous meeting taking up his business license and defended the accusations.

"The conduct of defendant drove Mr. Haney and Haney's Eight Star Restaurant LLC out of business," his suit states.
