MORGANTOWN -

Members of Diversity is a non profit organization that helps under represented people in the community. The group helps people, especially young students, see their worth and make them aware that they do have a future.

The group held the '3 on 3 Hardwood Classic' at Mountaineer Middle School on Saturday. The event was a fundraiser to help raise money for the work they do.

"We had 3 on 3 teams from middle school, high school and adult," said Susan John, president of the Members of Diversity. "And it was pretty competitive but the whole point of it was to engage and they were able to see off duty law enforcement for example. We had a big rivalry between the state police and the sheriff's department."

The Members of Diversity also had a celebrity game and dunk contest.
