Deputies say child found in home during meth bust

GREENUP COUNTY -

Deputies with Greenup County Sheriffs Department say they found  an active meth lab inside a home with a five year old child inside.

The incident happened at 8 p.m. Saturday in South Shore, Ky. 

Dennis Darby Jr., 45 of South Shore Ky., Tasmine Hammons, 25, of Sciotoville, Oh., and Alvin Branham 42, of Portsmouth, Oh., were all arrested in the bust.

According to a news release, when deputies arrived there were items used to manufacture meth and a large amount of drug paraphernalia at the house. 

Darby is charged with child endangerment in the first degree, manufacturing meth, and possession of heroin. Hammons and Branham are charged with trafficking meth.   

The three charged were taken to the Greenup County Detention Center. Deputies say more charges are pending.
