John Skruck Fails to Appear for Bath Salts Trial, U.S. Marshals Issue Arrest Warrant

Posted: Updated:

The United States Marshals Service is looking for a Clarksburg man accused of selling large quantities of illegal bath salts who failed to show up for his trial in Clarksburg Federal Court Tuesday.

Supervisory U.S. Marshal Alex Neville said a warrant for John Nicholas Skruck's arrest has been issued for violating a condition of his bond.  Skruck is described as a white male with green eyes, brown hair, standing five-feet-nine-inches and weighing about 200 lbs.

Skruck, 57, is facing more than two-dozen drug charges after his April 2012 arrest for his involvement in Hot Stuff Cool Things stores located in Clarksburg and Buckhannon.

The U.S. Marshals Service is working with the Harrison County Drug Task Force to locate and apprehend Skruck.

If you have information regarding Skruck's whereabouts, contact the U.S. Marshals at 304-623-0486.
