The Lewis County Sheriff's Department has arrested an Orlando man on a drug charge.
David Michael Smith, 54, was arrested and charged with operating or attempting to operate clandestine drug labs.
On Wednesday, a Lewis County Sheriff's deputy responded to Smith's residence on Three Lick Road.
When the deputy arrived, he found several products used to make meth, including a plastic bottle with a substance in it that resembled methamphetamine and items used to manufacture meth, in a shed behind the residence, according to the criminal complaint.
In a statement, Smith admitted that he manufactured meth and described in detail how he manufactured it, according to the criminal complaint.
Smith is being held in the Central Regional Jail on $300,000 bail.
