HUNTINGTON, WV -

Tim Martin has been promoted to the role of vice president of ancillary services at Cabell Huntington Hospital.

Martin previously served as the hospital's interim executive director of ancillary services as well as its director of radiology from 2005 to 2010. 

Martin has more than 10 years of leadership experience in the field and is a member of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and the American College of Healthcare Executives.

In his new role, Martin has joined the hospital's executive leadership team. He also takes on a management role for hospital departments including housekeeping, maintenance, laundry, safety, security, radiology, laboratory, pulmonary services, sleep diagnostic services, dietary services and Cabell Huntington Hospital Home Health.

In other news at the hospital, Joanne X. McAuliffe has joined Cabell Huntington as vice president and chief nursing officer.

She brings nearly 20 years of experience in nursing leadership to her new role. She is serving on Cabell Huntington's executive leadership team and also oversees the nursing management team.

Before coming to Cabell Huntington, McAuliffe served as assistant vice president and administrative director of the oncology service line at Med Star Franklin Square Medical Center in Baltimore.

Prior to that, she served as patient care services manager at the University of Maryland Medical Center.

She studied nursing at Baltimore's Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing, where she completed her doctor of nursing practice degree, master of science degree in nursing, bachelor's degree in nursing and her business of nursing certificate.

Cabell Huntington is a 303-bed academic medical center that serves more than 29 counties throughout West Virginia, eastern Kentucky and southern Ohio. The teaching hospital affiliated with Marshall University's School of Medicine and School of Nursing dates to 1956.
