Crews from Marion and Harrison counties responded to a fire at a rental home on Sunday.

It happened just after 6 p.m. on Rockwell Lane in Enterprise.

Witnesses reported that the fire started near the front of the home. No one was home at the time of the fire but the occupant was at the home prior to the fire to collect clothes, according to the State Fire Marshal's Office.

The cause of the fire is still unknown but the State Fire Marshal's Office is calling it suspicious.

The house is a total loss and no one was injured. The occupant's 12-year-old St. Bernard was outside the home prior to the fire but has not been found, according to the State Fire Marshal's Office.

Anyone with information that can assist in finding the dog or anyone who has more information about the fire should call the State Fire Marshal's Office at 800-233-2343.

This is the second structure fire to destroy a house on Rockwell Lane in the past three months.
