The Weston Police Department released surveillance images on Monday after an attempted armed robbery at a gas station.

Police arrived on scene at the GoMart on Center Street just before 2 a.m. on Sunday.

They said a man entered the GoMart, displayed a handgun, and demanded money from the clerk. The subject then fled the store on foot after the clerk contacted 911, according to Weston police.

Police said the man did not get away with any money.

Police described the man as being in his late teens to early 20s, approximately 5 feet and 7 inches tall, and approximately 130 pounds.
