    Clarksburg City Council approved a second reading of the ordinance to acquire the Rose Garden Theater, Thursday night.
    Clarksburg City Council met Thursday night to discuss ‘The Robinson Grand Theater', also known as the ‘Rose Garden Theater', that the city plans to acquire. 

Authorities from Harrison and Marion counties responded to the scene of a single vehicle accident on Monday evening.

The Harrison County Sheriff's Department said it happened around 8:45 p.m. on Horners Run Road, off Route 73.

Chief Deputy Steve Johnson said Latiesha Meade, 26, of Fairmont swerved to miss a deer and hit a tree.

Meade and her two passengers, Michael Sine and Robin Stonebreaker all went to United Hospital Center with non-life threatening injuries.

The Harrison County Sheriff's Department, Bridgeport EMS, Marion County EMS, and fire departments from Bridgeport and Boothesville all responded to the accident.
