Building and maintaining roads in West Virginia is not cheap.
While I certainly respect the work of a Blue Ribbon Commission on Highways for their attention to this issue, the only solutions we seem to be hearing are tax increases.
Every family - not to mention every business - in this state
has been forced to make some tough decisions over the last few years. We've
all had to prioritize and find ways to make a budget work.
Government should not be any different. I challenge our political leaders to prioritize the needs of our state and make the decisions of what we can afford not what we can tax. That is why we need Decision Makers not politicians.
