CROSS LANES — Heritage International Trucks had a ribboncutting ceremony on its new service center just off Interstate 64 in Kanawha County on May 30. The 28,000-square foot center has 14 service and bays and a 6,500-square foot parts warehouse.

The facility expands Heritage's presence in the Cross Lanes area of Kanawha County. Another center nearby sells and finances medium-, heavy- and severe-duty International trucks used in industries such as coal, oil, gas, transportation, manufacturing, wood, chemicals and food products. The company offers long- and short-term leasing and rental of commercial trucks.

Heritage also sells and services IC school and commercial buses. The bus service and repair operation will expand as truck operations move to the new facility.

Heritage International Trucks owns and operates six International truck dealerships in Bluefield, Crab Orchard, Cross Lanes and White Sulfur Springs, W.Va., and Louisa, Ky. The company also operates a Featherlite dealership in White Sulfur Springs.

Heritage International Trucks is owned by Heritage Truck Centers, which also owns Heritage Equipment, a Western Star dealership in Beckley, along with Heritage Bus Sales and Heritage Lease and Rental. Heritage Truck Centers and its affiliates employ about 275 people.
