UPDATE: 1 Flown to Hospital After Marion County Accident

One person was flown by Air Evac Lifeteam to an area hospital after a single-vehicle accident Thursday night in Marion County.

It happened around 8:30 p.m. on Main Street in Fairview.

The Fairview Police Department said a man was traveling at a high speed on Main Street and lost control of the vehicle.

He crashed into a fence and two trees before flipping over onto its top, according to officials.

The helicopter landed at Fairview Middle School to transport the patient to Ruby Memorial Hospital, according to 911 officials.

Police said the man has significant injuries, and had several seizures. His name is not being released at this time.

The Fairview Fire Department, Marion County Sheriff's Department, Grant Town EMS, Marion County Rescue Squad, and Fairview police all responded to the accident.
