Touch a Truck Raises Funds for Cancer Research

Posted: Updated:

Touch a Truck is an annual event in Morgantown that allows kids of all ages to sit in the driver's seat, honk the horn, and learn what the different vehicles do.

All kinds of trucks are set up in the WVU Coliseum parking lot for the kids to check out.

The event raises money for the Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Research Center.

"We have had, sadly, a few members of our family pass from cancer and a few other survivors of cancer," said Katie Martin, one of the organizers of the event. "We definitely put this in their name and do this for them."

Vehicles from different law enforcement agencies, rescue squads, and fire departments were also at the event.
