The Greenbrier Classic has come a long way over the last few years.
The tournament is only heading into its fourth year on the PGA Tour, and already its attracted some of the biggest names in the world of golf and music.
Tuesday afternoon was Media Day down in White Sulphur Springs at the Greenbrier. Resort Owner Jim Justice met with the media and discussed several topics, ranging from the big names who will play in the tournament, all the way to the 'A' List celebrity musicians who will take the stage.
So far, Phil Mickelson and Tom Watson, among others have pledged to participate in the tournament. While Kenny Chesney and Aerosmith will be the headline performances.
But how about Tiger Woods?
"All I can report on Tiger is that we don't have a 'no'. But we certainly don't have a 'yes' either. Tiger is on a, other than the last event, he's been on a real tear. He's in super demand, that's for sure," Justice said.
"It's a treat to come back after getting my first win last year here at the Greenbrier. It's just a very special place to me. It jump started my career on the PGA Tour," 2012 Greenbrier champion Ted Potter Jr. said.
