Fairmont Resident Indicted for Distribution of Morphine

A Fairmont resident has been named in a three-count indictment, according to a news release from U.S. Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II.

Tonisha Woods, 34, faces three counts of distribution of morphine. Woods faces up to 20 years in prison and a $1 million fine on each count if convicted, according to the news release.

This case will be prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Zelda E. Wesley and was investigated by the Three Rivers Task Force, consisting of officers from the Fairmont Police Department and the Fairmont State University Police Department.
