37 years is a long time for anything.
That's how long the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship series has visited High Point National.
It will be a big weekend across the border in Mount Morris, Pennsylvania. High Point Raceway is one of the top motocross tracks in America. Some of the top drivers will grace the track on Saturday.
This will be the fourth of 12 races in the series.
Ryan Dungy was last year's winner. Dungy rides into the weekend with all the momentum, coming off his first win of the season last week at the Tennessee National.
Thursday afternoon was Media Day which was partially rained out, but drivers said being at the famous High Point Raceway is fun, rain or shine.
"The circuit doesn't come around here more than once or twice a year, and fans might not get to see it for a whole other year so there's a lot of excitement and everyone's happy to be here. When the weekend comes around everyone's just pumped to watch everyone race, and all the battles and racing," driver Cole Seely said.
