The Buckhannon-Upshur Chamber of Commerce has a new executive director.

Buckhannon native Tammy Reger is a local realtor and also helps with the Upshur County Convention and Visitors Bureau.

The chamber and the CVB recently moved into new office space on East Main Street in Buckhannon.

Reger said the chamber wants to update its website and continue to provide information through its social media sites.

"People I think see us here they realize that we can help local residents and people visiting to provide information," Reger said.

The chamber will celebrate its new offices with an open house and host a party for West Virginia's 150th birthday on Thursday, June 20.
