The Harrison County Sheriff's Department is investigating a robbery Monday.

It happened just after 3:45 a.m. at the Exxon in Quiet Dell.

The Harrison County Sheriff's Department said a white man, standing about 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches with a medium build told the clerk he had a firearm and to open the cash register.

The man then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to the sheriff's department.

The clerk told police that the man's face was partially covered during the robbery.

If you can help, call the sheriff's department at 304-623-6655.
