44 Local Municipal Elections to be Held June 11

In north central West Virginia there will be 44 municipal elections held June 11, according to the W.Va. Secretary of State's website.

The 44 elections will take place in the following municipalities:

  • Barbour County: Junior
  • Doddridge County: West Union
  • Gilmer County: Glenville, Sand Fork
  • Harrison County: Anmoore, Bridgeport, Lumberport, Stonewood, West Milford, Nutter Fort
  • Lewis County: Jane Lew
  • Marion County: Fairview, Farmington, Monongah, Rivesville, White Hall, Worthington
  • Monongalia County: Blacksville, Granville, Star City
  • Preston County: Albright, Brandonville, Bruceton Mills, Kingwood, Masontown, Newburg, Reedsville, Rowlesburg, Terra Alta, Tunnelton
  • Randolph County: Harman, Huttonsville, Mill Creek, Montrose
  • Ritchie County: Auburn, Cairo, Harrisville, Pullman
  • Taylor County: Flemington
  • Tucker County: Davis, Hendricks
  • Webster County: Addison, Camden-On-Gauley, Cowen

According to the Secretary of State's website, there are five local municipal elections that are awaiting canvass. Those five elections include Clarksburg, Lumberport and Salem in Harrison County; Mannington in Marion County; and Coalton in Randolph County.

Four local municipal elections have been completed. The four elections include Belington in Barbour County; Elkins in Randolph County; Morgantown in Monongalia County; and Beverly in Randolph County.
