Some of the top off-road ATV racers in America are making their way to Preston County on Saturday and Sunday for the Parts Unlimited Mountaineer Run in Masontown.
It's the second year the GNCC Racing Series has stopped at Marvin's Mountaintop, which is the former home of the All-Good Music Festival.
The more than 12 mile track will certainly test the drivers' endurance as well as skills.
Local drivers say they're looking forward to being home for at least one weekend this summer.
"I think it's an advantage being in your backyard honestly," said Layne Michael of Fairmont. "I get to sleep in my own bed, your comfortable. Especially all the family comes to this race because it's so close. The atmosphere is really nice with everyone cheering you on. So it's always good in that prospective."
Amateur races begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Pro Races begin at 1 p.m. both days as well. Tickets can be purchased at the gate for $15 for the entire weekend.
