Tuesday afternoon provided some good news for sports fans in the Friendly City of Fairmont.
East-West Stadium will be going through another round of renovations this summer.
The stadium was originally built in the 1930's and has seen its share of 'wear and tear' over the years.
The Marion County Board of Education has hired a company to apply a new coat of cement in the bleachers.
Superintendent Gary Price said it will help preserve and extend the life of the stadium.
"We're going to remove the old wooden bleacher top seats. Then they'll apply that coat and then we'll reinstall new bleacher top seats," Price said.
