CLARKSBURG -

A woman was flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital on Friday after authorities said her car went off the road and ended up on the side of a wall.

The Clarksburg Police Department said the women was heading west on East Pike Street around 7:45 p.m. when she lost control of her car. The car went airborne, hit a concrete wall outside Minard's Spaghetti Inn, and came to a rest on that wall.

Police said the car hit a vehicle parked outside the restaurant and destroyed Minard's sign.

No word on the woman's name or condition.

Police said speed was a factor in this crash.
