Nearly 90 baseball teams from across the region playing ball at more than a dozen area fields across three days adds up to a lot of baseball.
That's exactly what's going on in Morgantown during this weekend's Morgantown Marathon.
Teams of players from 9-years-old to 19 are playing at fields in Bridgeport, Fairmont and Morgantown at the annual tournament.
Day one and two is pool play, followed by Sunday's championship round.
The tournament is run by Triple Crown Sports, which holds showcase events like the marathon all across the country. It said games like these feature the best talent in the region.
"We've had some home runs, a lot of competition, some extra inning games. We don't play to a tie so they got to win, which in a unique format for travel baseball. So it's been fun so far, and the weather is gorgeous. You can't ask for a better day of baseball," said Rich Hesse of Triple Crown Sports.
