MONONGALIA COUNTY -

Saturday afternoon was perfect for a walk, some swimming, or maybe even a motorcycle ride.

The 11th Annual Ride United Poker Run for the United Way of Monongalia and Preston counties was held.

The riders started at Triple S Harley and went through Monongalia, Preston County and Garrett County, MD covering about 115 miles.

"Annually it raises about $10,000 for the United Way Campaign that takes place this fall," said Brett White. "We're hoping for a larger than usual turn out today, we have beautiful weather the first Saturday of the summer. We're hoping some people come out and enjoy the ride for the day."

The poker run had five stops through the three counties, and ended around at Archie's in Sabraton.
