WVU Forensic And Investigative Science Program Hosts Summer Camp

MORGANTOWN -

Some high school students are learning fingerprinting and forensic D-N-A testing this week at a summer camp sponsored by the Forensic and Investigative Science Program at WVU.

Students from 10th to 12th grade will work in a lab setting through Friday where they'll process a crime scene.

"We send them in to process the crime scene on their own and then they have to come back to us with what they think happened," said Tina Moroose from the Forensic & Investigative Science Program. "It's kind of like a build up all week of the big crime scene. That's the big thing they're all waiting for."

The Forensic and Investigative Science Program is also planning a kids Fall Festival. If you want to learn more head over to the Science Program's website.
