BRIDGEPORT -

The West Virginia Capital Access Program recently approved a $300,000 loan for Mia Margherita at Charles Pointe in Bridgeport to help with its developments.

The brand new pizza place is set to open on August 1 and will feature brick oven pizza and traditional Italian dishes.

The restaurant expects to hire roughly 25 people for opening day.

WVCAP provides West Virginia small businesses with access to new loan funds they can use to invest, expand and create jobs. The state-run program has access to $13.1 million through the State Small Business Credit Initiative, created under the federal Small Business Jobs Act of 2010.
