July 4 Events Scheduled Around North Central West Virginia

Barbour County

July 5: Fireworks at 10 p.m. At the Barbour County Fairgrounds. Gates open at 7 p.m.

Harrison County

July 1: Shinnston's fireworks display begins at 7:30 p.m. at Ferguson Park. The Shinnston Community Band will perform at 8:45 with fireworks to follow. The rain date is Tuesday, July 2.

July 3: Fireworks by the water tanks by Eastpointe at dusk.

July 5: Fireworks immediately following the Florida-Georgia Line Concert at the VA Park.

July 6: Fireworks in the Park at Clarksburg City Park. Event starts at noon and ends at 11 p.m. Wild World of Animal Show starts at 2 p.m.

Lewis County

July 4: Weston's Annual Fourth of July Festivities will be held on Thursday July 4th. The parade starts at 5 line up begins at 4pm at RLBMS. Gates to the field will open as soon as the parade ends. Fireworks will begin at dusk.

July 6: James Archer Concert at 6:30 at Stonewall Resort followed by Rustic Highway at 7:30. Fireworks will start at approximately 9:30 over Stonewall Jackson Lake.

Marion County

July 4: The Fairview 4th is real, old-fashioned family summer fun in Fairview, West Virginia, with a parade, a community band concert, non-partisan patriotic speeches, a cakewalk, games and contests for the kids, musical entertainment and a fireworks show! http://www.fairview4th.org/

July 4: Fairmont Fireworks Celebration held at Palatine Park with live music, food, fun and fireworks.

Monongalia County

July 4: The 4th of Celebration of America will be held at Hazel Ruby McQuain Park. There will be music, a bike decorating contest, parade, fireworks and much more. Fireworks will begin around 9:45. Click here for a full itinerary.

Terra Alta's 87th July 4th Celebration

Saturday, June 29th-ATV/Jeep benefit ride begins at 11am starting at the Fire Department-Hamburgers and hot dogs will be served after the ride-$10.00 a rider

Tuesday, July 2-Opening Night at 6pm-carnival-food vendors

Wednesday, July 3-Kid's Night-Discounts for kids-carnival and food vendors starts at 6pm

July 6: The Wheeling Symphony Orchestra will perform at the 23rd Annual Celebration of the Arts on Saturday July 6, at Canaan Valley Resort State Park. The Symphony will begin this free concert at 3 p.m. with Chris Tedesco as special guest artist.
