Three people are now facing charges after deputies say they
were dealing morphine.
Luke A. Bowden, 29, Buddy A. Howard, 38, and Marcella K. Delong, 35, all of Ashland were all arrested Wednesday. The three are charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, according to a news release from the Boyd County Sheriff's Department.
An informant working for the Boyd County Sheriff's Department Drug Task Force bought morphine from the three. As a result, deputies executed a search warrant at an apartment in the 900 block of 29th Street.
Deputies say they found morphine, cash, drug paraphernalia and other narcotics. Bowden, Howard and Delong are currently in the Boyd County Detention Center.
Deputies say more arrests are pending.
