Volunteers said the problem began when Monongalia County condensed the committees overseeing the park into one.
Upshur County's Community Corrections Program is moving.
The county commission approved a lease agreement Thursday to move its offices to 31 North Spring Street near the Buckhannon Southern States.
Commissioners said the move was prompted by conditions with the existing building, and when it decided not to purchase the building, the county got an eviction notice.
Commission President Donnie Tenney said the timing was good to make the move.
"I know they'll be glad to make the move, and I think it will be a good location. It will covenant for the folks going there. It will be a good facility for them to set up shop in," said Tenney.
Tenney said the program will be in its new location next month, and services will not be interrupted.
The community corrections program serves Upshur, Lewis, and Braxton Counties.
