GRAFTON -

Congresswoman Shelley Moore Capito and Congressman David McKinley were in Grafton Thursday to celebrate the birth of our nation.

Capito and McKinley both spoke to the public about the greatness of our country.

Joe the Plumber also took the stage to talk about freedom and how we need to go back to being patriotic.

Both members of Congress agree that we need to remember the reason for the holiday.

"America is a great country and we need to love it as much as we can and protect our liberties as much as we can," said Rep. Shelley Capito, (R) 2nd Congressional District.

"Stop to reflect about how did we get here," said Rep. David McKinley, (R) Congressional 1st District. "That's what is going to be important. make sure we understand these are real people. Not just something in a history book. Lets put a life to it."

All three speakers took questions from the audience after the celebration.
