New York State Police have arrested a Bridgeport man on sex crime charges in Lockport, NY.
State Police charged Andrew K. Peyatt, 55, with first degree rape, first degree criminal sexual acts and third degree aggravated abuse on June 30, according to the Niagara Gazette.
Investigators received a complaint from a Niagara County resident about sexual abuse that began more than 10 years ago. The investigation revealed that Peyatt, a former Lockport resident, sexually abused the victim when he was visiting the area, according to the Niagara Gazette.
Peyatt was arraigned in Lockport and is being held in Niagara County Jail on $250,000 cash bond.
