The boil water advisory issued by the Hughes River Water Board in Harrisville for water customers in Harrisville, Pullman and Washburn has been lifted.


Original Story

A boil water advisory has been issued by the Hughes River Water Board in Harrisville for water customers of Harrisville, Pullman and Washburn areas until further notice.

The advisory is due to equipment failure at the water plant on #1 Water Plant Road in Harrisville.

Officials said there's no indication that the water is unsafe but the advisory has been issued as a precautionary measure.

All residents of the towns stated above are under the advisory.
