    Clarksburg City Council approved a second reading of the ordinance to acquire the Rose Garden Theater, Thursday night.
    Clarksburg City Council met Thursday night to discuss ‘The Robinson Grand Theater', also known as the ‘Rose Garden Theater', that the city plans to acquire. 

UPDATE:

The Marion County Sheriff's Department said a 13-year-old girl was arguing with her mother when she ran away and jumped into Buffalo Creek near the community building.  Marion County 911 said initial reports indicate that the girl was found in the water.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Authorities in Marion County, including a dive team, were actively searching for a person in a creek Thursday evening.

Marion County 911 said authorities arrived at the scene around 9:30 p.m. in Metz at Buffalo Creek after reports of a girl going into the water.

The Marion County Sheriff's Department is investigating. The Marion County Rescue Squad, Mannington Fire Department, and divers from the Winfield Fire Department also responded to the incident.
