The Taylor County Sheriff's Department is investigating an ATV crash that sent one man to the hospital Monday morning.
Sheriff Terring Skinner said around 1:30 a.m., a deputy spotted a man in his mid 30s driving recklessly on an ATV from Pup Run towards Route 250.
The deputy then saw the ATV turning onto Tappan Road, where it was later found crashed into a tree, according to Skinner.
Skinner said HealthNet arrived at a landing zone set up at the Middletown Mall, then flew the man to the hospital.
No word on the man's condition, but Skinner said his injuries appeared to be serious.
There's no word on if the man will face any charges.
