Belington Resident Pleads Guilty to Drug Charge in Elkins Federal Court

A Belington resident pleaded guilty to a drug charge recently in Elkins Federal Court, according to a new release from U.S. Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II.

Gary Rudolph Loy pleaded guilty to manufacturing methamphetamine on August 28, 2012, officials said.

Loy is free on bond pending sentencing and faces up to 20 years in prison and a $1 million fine.

Loy's case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Stephen D. Warner and was investigated by the W.Va. State Police, the Randolph County Sheriff's Department and the Belington Police Department.
