    It was a celebratory day at West Virginia Wesleyan College as Senator Jay Rockefeller returned to campus for the first time in nearly eight years in an event with journalist Ted Koppel. 
    It was a celebratory day at West Virginia Wesleyan College as Senator Jay Rockefeller returned to campus for the first time in nearly eight years in an event with journalist Ted Koppel. 

The seventh annual Jim Dunn Memorial Scholarship Twilight Five-miler was held in Morgantown on Friday

The Race started at 7 p.m. with more than 400 participants.

 Jim Dunn was a WVU track athlete.  Dunn's family said hosting this run is just one way the family can keep his memory alive.

The run was formed to promote West Virginia track athletes and to provide scholarships for high school seniors. So far, the Dunn family has given 14 track scholarships to gradating high school seniors.

"I like to run. It's a nice local race.  It's a big race for Morgantown. We have great participation for a great cause, scholarships for WVU and it's just a great evening," said Ron Hamric.

The first runner crossed the finish line in just under 30 minutes.
