Volunteers said the problem began when Monongalia County condensed the committees overseeing the park into one.
After less than a year of being opened, Schmitt's Saloon is already expanding.
The saloon added about 15 feet onto the back of the restaurant, a new stage and 10 extra feet onto its outside deck.
The new stage has a loading dock to attract bigger and better acts.
Starting Sunday, July 21, the place will be shut down for the expansion. Managers said they are hoping to be back up and running by Wednesday, July 24 for a grand opening.
Schmitt's said it will definitely be opened Thursday for the first big act on the new stage: Tyler Farr.
