LEWIS COUNTY -

State Police in Lewis County arrested a man on assault, battery and brandishing a weapon charges on Saturday night.

Police were originally called for a domestic dispute, and discovered that Bradley Shane Riffle, 20, struck a 14-year-old boy who suffered minor injuries.

Police said Riffle also threatened to shoot others at the Sand Run Road household, and was in the possession of a firearm.  

Riffle then threatened to shoot officers before threatening to shoot himself.

Riffle is charged with one count of assault, one count of battery and four counts of brandishing a weapon.

He is currently in the Central Regional Jail. Bail is not yet set.
