CLARKSBURG -

July is National Ice Cream Month and the third Sunday in July is celebrated as National Ice Cream Day.

According to the International Dairy Foods Association, President Ronald Reagan designated the holiday in 1984.

Toni's Ice Cream in Adamston had lots of customers on Sunday celebrating the holiday.

When asked about their favorite flavor some kids like to keep it simple.

"Strawberry. It tastes like strawberries and I really like strawberries," said Aiden Murphy, from Clarksburg.

A lot of kids like a Toni's Ice Cream classic.

"Raspberry, because one time my grandma had me taste it and I liked it ever since," said Bryce Womsley, a Mountaineer Middle School student.

For anyone with a sweet tooth that wants to celebrate, Toni's has everything from cones, to milk shakes, and anything can be topped with its signature crunch coat.

If you missed out on the fun Sunday you still have the whole month of July to celebrate.
