Southern West Virginia Health System – Sand Plant will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and it will serve members of the community on a walk-in basis as well as by appointment.

The new center will offer family medicine care, urgent care, women's health services, x-ray services and laboratory services. It also will feature a retail pharmacy with a drive-through window.

"We are pleased about becoming a part of the Kanawha County community," Lincoln Primary Care Center and Southern West Virginia Health System CEO Brian Crist said in a news release. "Southern West Virginia Health System – Sand Plant represents an important step in our goal of improving access to quality, affordable health care to the people of South Charleston and beyond."
