MORGANTOWN -

------------UPDATE---------------

After four days, multiple bands, rain, and motorcycles Mountainfest finally came to a close Sunday evening.

The event had ups and downs through out the weekend but the people at Triple S Harley said it was a success.

Thousands of people went through the welcome tent at the new location and to Mylan Park.

There was even a wedding performed on the stage Saturday afternoon.

"It had been planned, we started planning it about six months ago. Yeah, they were really excited," said Jennifer Shuttleworth, the General Manager of Triple S Harley.  "Like I said, that's what they wanted to do and they had a group that came with them on bikes and then they road out to the Joan Jett concert."

Entry to the welcome tent at Triple S Harley was free all weekend.

The sound of motorcycle engines revving could be heard all over Morgantown Saturday.

The Wild and Wonderful Mountainfest Motorcycle Rally kicked off around 1:00 p.m. Saturday with a blessing of the motorcycles from "Bikers for Christ."

The Parade of Bikes all lined up and then left from the WVU Coliseum. They traveled down Don Knotts Boulevard to downtown Morgantown where they met up with more people in the parade.

The bikers finished up at the end of High Street.

The weather looked like it might cause issues, but cleared up just in time for the bikers to head out and finish the parade.

The Parade Marshal was from the International Association of Fire Fighters Motorcycle Group.

There were thousands of bikes that joined in the ride. Some bikes had two people, and even dogs joining in on the ride.

The motorcycle parade was part of the Mountainfest festivities, which is happening at both Mylan Park and Triple S Harley's new location throughout the weekend.
