Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin on Aug. 2 announced he has appointed three people to the West Virginia University Board of Governors and seven to the Marshall University Board of Governors.

Rob Alsop of Charleston, Diane Lewis of Morgantown and William Wilmoth were appointed to the WVU board.

The following people were appointed to the Marshall board: James Bailes, Phil Cline and Dr. Joseph Touma, all of Huntington; Tim Dagostine of Charleston; Ed Howard III of Scottsdale, Ariz.; Dale Lowther of Parkersburg; and Christie Kinsey of Lavalette.
