Crockett's Lodge in Star City Celebrates 30th Anniversary

Crockett's Lodge in Star City has been a staple in the town for quite some time, 30 years to be exact.

The lodge celebrated its 30th Anniversary on Saturday, August 3rd. The Lodge was built in the summer of 1983 and to pay homage to the decade the establishment was created, it celebrated with 80's themed drinks and prices all day for the event.

Crockett's walls are filled with memorabilia of the past 30 years, from photos of former employees to old license plates of patrons.

Crockett's Lodge claims to be the originator of "Bar Surfing" but said the surfboards that were originally used are safely retired, but proudly displayed at the place.

The restaurant also has a number of specials. Including, Ladies' Night on Thursdays and $3 Fishbowl Margaritas every Friday night.

The establishment has also served a number of celebrities over the years. Its most famous and celebrated guests are the bands Warrant, Firehouse, Steppenwolf, Dierks Bentley and Neil Young. There are also NFL players and sportscasters that have stopped by to enjoy the place.

Crockett's hours are as follows:

Sunday: 4 p.m.-1 a.m.

Monday: 4 p.m.-1 a.m.

Tuesday: 4 p.m.-1 a.m.

Wednesday: 4 p.m.-1 a.m.

Thursday: 4 p.m.-3 a.m.

Friday: 4 p.m.-3 a.m.

Saturday: 4 p.m.-3 a.m.
