Hundreds of homes set up shop in their front yards with items of all kinds.
Clothes, toys, and furniture brought thousands of people from all over West Virginia and beyond.
Elizabeth Kilgore said she wasn't planning on participating, until she saw the amount of people there on Friday.
"Yesterday was enormous. I wasn't even out here, but the people across the street they had their table set up and they were shut down because they had nothing left to sell. They were shut down a couple hours later. I've not had anybody that stopped by that hasn't bought something," explained Kilgore, who is originally from Ohio.
Kilgore is moving back to Ohio, and needed to get rid of some extra stuff.
The Upshur County Convention and Visitors Bureau offered maps of both Upshur and Lewis County, and listed all of the yard sales on the map to make them easy to find.
They also offered tips to the visitors including what to bring. The number one item was comfortable walking shoes.
