Annual Corvette Show Held by Central WV Corvette Club

CLARKSBURG -

The Central West Virginia Corvette Club hosted its annual corvette show on Sunday at Harry Green Chevrolet.

More than 50 Corvettes lined the Harry Green parking lot for the judged show.

This was the 36th annual show sponsored by the club.

Visitors had the chance to see Corvettes from many different years.

Club members said the event brings a large crowd every year, and provides something to do.

"We see a lot of the same faces every year. Some people don't own a Corvette, they just love Corvettes or they just love cars. It's a nice thing to do on a Sunday afternoon, there's nothing else going on usually. I would say we get 400 or 500 in a day. It gets pretty crowded in the afternoon," said Mike Henderson, with the Central West Virginia Corvette Club.

The Corvette Club has many different shows, cruise ins, and monthly meetings.

The Central West Virginia Corvette Club was founded in 1972 and has over 90 members.
