A judge has sentenced a Buckhannon man for making threats of a terroristic act.
Tony Vincent Herndon, 45, was convicted of calling the Upshur County Board of Education in January, and leaving a message saying he wanted his rights and privileges re-instated to allow him to be on school property.
Herndon said if he didn't get them re-instated, "the board knows what happened in Newtown, Connecticut."
A judge sentenced Herndon to one to three years in prison.
