Highland Jam Brings Musicians to Randolph County

Posted: Updated:

The 11th annual Highland Jam was held in Elkins on Saturday.

The Pegasus Farm Campground is the host for the event that brings musicians and guests together to listen to different kinds of music.

The owner of Pegasus Farm Campground and the organizer of the festival said it brings people from all over to Randolph County.

"It's a festival reuniting musicians. What we do is attract musicians from all over the country; we get 300 or 400 submissions every year. It's a family affair. We bring about 1,000 people into the local economy," said Mark Bramciaroli, owner of Pegasus Farm Campground.

Bramciaroli is also a member of the band ZEN, who plays at the festival every year.

Bramciaroli said after 11 years, the festival brings return guests and bands every year. He said the event is a family affair.

Guests get to camp on the Pegasus Farm Campground.

Bramciaroli said even though the event started on Thursday, people have been showing up and camping since Monday.

Some of the bands at the festival included ZEN, Jahman Brahman, The Greens, and SHADRACH.
